The CCC student art show is coming up… and I will be submitting a piece.
Spoiler Alert!
Colorful Thoughts, Acrylic on canvas
This was done in my Fall ’10 Portraits class with Lynn Torrini.
The assignment was to paint from life, no pencil sketching. Just paint to canvas.
We had 30 minutes.

We had 30 minutes.
Our model was falling asleep.
Even though he was sitting in a spotlight.
And had two shots of 5-hour energy.
Apparently, that stuff does not work for everyone.
My father and sister will also be submitting a piece in the show.
(We take art classes together, cause we’re tight like that.)
If you don’t have plans on Friday, May 6th,
and are in the area, come out and share a glass of wine with me. . .
. . .and get your art show on.
